Yes, we provide clean linen on each bed and a full set of towels for each guest, including beach towels, should you wish to take a dip. If you are staying with us longer than nine nights, we can arrange for fresh bed linen and a change of towels to be delivered at your convenience.
We provide a small amount of essential basics like washing up liquid, washing up sponge and brushes, some clothes washing tablets, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets to get you started. In the kitchen there is salt and pepper, olive oil, chilli flakes, garlic and mixed herbs. We provide linen and all towels including beach towels and tea towels to save you packing space. It is self-catered so you will need to bring your own food or eat out.
Yes, we provide kindling, fire lighters and wood as well as matches and a lighter. If you run out during your stay, please let us know and we will replenish your stocks.
Yes, we provide a welcome hamper so you can sample some local produce and have a cup of tea when you arrive. The hamper usually contains a small selection of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, butter, eggs, sausages and a selection of jams and preserves. We will contact you prior to your arrival to check any dietary requirements you may have.

If you need to do any washing during your stay there is a washer/dryer, drying racks, as well as an iron and ironing board. We also provide a small number of washing tablets.
All of our bedrooms are equipped with hairdryers, usually hiding in a wardrobe or chest of drawers.
There is no landline at Nolton Haven Mill and the mobile phone signal is weak to non existent. Enjoy the peace and quiet!
There is free unlimited WiFi throughout the property in all rooms.
The cost of the water, electricity and oil powered heating are all included in your stay. We even provide logs for the log burner an charcoal for the BBQ.
Arrival and Departure
You can check in anytime from 3:30pm. A key will be waiting for you, whatever time you arrive. More details are provided with your booking confirmation. If you are keen to start your holiday early and dip your toes in the sea, an early check in can sometimes be arranged depending on the departure time of the previous guests. Please contact us and we will try to accommodate you.
Check out is at 10:30am. If you find our beds too comfy to leave in the morning, a late check out can sometimes be arranged, depending on the arrival of the next guests. Please contact us and we will try to accommodate you.
Is it less than three nights? We usually have a minimum booking requirement of three nights in low season and six nights minimum during the school holidays. If it’s not that- please contact us and we will try to help.
Feel free to leave any homemade cakes for our enjoyment, but empty the fridge and cupboards of any perishables. Nothing special is needed, just make sure you have all your belongings and leave the place clean and tidy. Remember to log out of any of your TV subscription accounts, like Amazon or Netflix, close any windows and outside doors, turn off any lights and put the key back where you found it. We will do the rest.
We organise a thorough clean at the end of your stay, which is included in the total cost of your booking. This means each new visitor arrives to a beautifully clean house.
Because of our location, the sandy beach and country roads, the house gets dustier than normal. Cleaning products and equipment are provided should you wish to have a quick freshen up which will help keep the house looking good.
Cleaning can be organised, at your expense, should you prefer.
We’ve all smashed a glass or dropped a plate at one time or another, so we expect a certain amount of wear and tear. Please inform us as soon as possible so that we can replace the item(s). Serious or negligent damage can incur a cost.
Pets, Children and Special Assistance
Yes, we welcome families of all ages. We provide a number of items to help you during your stay, including a fire guard, baby gates, high chairs, travel cots, baby monitor, games and books for children, adults may need them too!
Yes, we are very happy to have four legged friends stay. They need to be well behaved and we ask that they don’t go on beds or soft furnishings. We have a warm outside shower which is perfect for hosing them off after a day spent frolicking in and out of the sea in all seasons. We also provide stair gates and several items to ease on packing and to help you during your stay including old towels. Please contact us via e-mail if you require further arrangements.
Booking and Cancellation
We ask for an initial payment upon booking, which is 1/5 of the total cost. The remaining balance is due four weeks before your arrival date. If you book within four weeks of arrival the full payment is required.

We understand that sometimes things happen beyond your control. If you cancel up to 14 days before your arrival, you will be given a full refund less the initial payment. However, any cancelations after this time will not be refunded unless we can re-let the property for someone else to enjoy the time you booked. Yes. There is private off road parking for up to three vehicles.
If you have a motor home, bus, tractor, trailer, boat or extra long amphibious car, please contact us as we would like to make sure that it will fit (and we are nosey).
We don’t have an electric car charging station, however you are welcome to plug yourself in free of charge. Its great that you are using an eco-friendly form of transport.
